Dance Minor
Minor
Most programs in the UCF School of Performing Arts require an audition or interview.
The Dance Minor is designed to prepare pre-professional dancers in a dynamic environment conducive to the highest caliber of both practice and scholarship. The Dance Minor offers a foundation in dance techniques, dance history, composition and performance. An audition is required for entrance into the program. Auditions are held once a semester.
The Dance Minor program is not structured for students who have had no dance training. The program seeks dancers who can demonstrate dance technique skills, preferably at the intermediate to advanced level.
