Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Orchestra
- Open to all UCF students, regardless of major
- Students interested in auditioning for placement in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, or Orchestra should prepare the materials and follow the audition procedures and calendar detailed below
- Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, and Strings students should submit the online audition registration form prior to the start of auditions. String students also need to email Bob Hasty to reserve an audition time slot.
Concert Band and University Band
- Open to all UCF students, regardless of major
- No audition is required for placement in Concert Band or University Band
- Concert Band is offered both fall & spring semesters
- University Band is offered only in the spring semester, each year

All ensemble audition, rehearsal, and performance activities are planned to be implemented normally, indoors, and in-person. We will always maintain full compliance with university policies and procedures, so if there are any changes that will effect ensembles this page will be updated accordingly.

All string auditions will be held in PAC M150.
Woodwind, brass and percussion auditions will be held live, in-person, in the Rehearsal Hall on August 19-20 (see audition schedule and required audition excerpts, below). All woodwind, brass, and percussion students should submit the following online forms as soon as possible. String students should submit the first form (audition registration form).
Audition Results
Ensemble rosters and information regarding music, initial rehearsal agendas, etc. will be posted on the ensembles bulletin boards on the second floor of the Music Building by Monday morning, Monday morning, August 21.
Audition Music
All students should be at their audition center fifteen (15) minutes prior to the scheduled start of their instrument’s scheduled auditions to check in and receive final instructions.
